The founders
Started in our own facility.
FloofPark began as a solution for our own private dog facility. We noticed how many pets were stressed and nervous about their time away from home — and how no single platform could manage boarding, daycare, training, dog park and private rentals while still prioritizing behavior, safety and good matching.
Mia, a PhD in the sciences with a certification in applied animal behavior, wanted to solve this problem. Zi, a senior machine learning research engineer, built and tested FloofPark inside our facility — refining scheduling, automation and behavior-aware matching. Now we are building it at scale for operators of any size.
